We turn 20

We celebrated our 20th year in business in 2014. Originally a subsidiary of Neptune Orient Lines, American Eagle Tankers – as we were formerly known – was established in Houston in 1994 to serve the US Gulf lightering market. In 2003, we were acquired by MISC Bhd (formerly the Malaysian International Shipping Corporation) as a wholly owned subsidiary. We are fortunate to have been able to reach various significant milestones over our 20 years – under new leadership, we rebranded; we expanded our fleet diversity and with that, our service offerings; we captured the US Gulf lightering market; and most recently became the first and only petroleum logistics provider to service the world’s only Marine Well Containment initiative, as well as the exclusive Scandinavian deepwater market.
